The VKF fire protection regulations define standard values for the density of people per m2 floor space that is directly used in the dimensioning of the escape and rescue values. Recommendations for the future calculation of these standard values were developed on the basis of data collected in various sales outlets. Matrisk accompanied the study in the role of a scientific quality assurer.
