In preparation for the planned revision of the Swiss fire safety regulations for 2025, two studies were carried out on the personal injuries observed in building fires and on possible protection targets and acceptance criteria. The results of both studies serve as an objective basis for a realignment of Swiss regulations to be consistently based on protection targets.
