The aim of the project is to improve the basis for decisions in public administration and politics based on scientific knowledge and private sector experience. Existing decision-making processes in public administration were analyzed and the processes formally presented. In this way, interfaces between different decision-makers and decision-making levels within the administration could be identified. With the help of risk-based decision-making, the administration can act proactively and according to the precautionary principle in the future. By taking risk information into account in budget planning, legislative goals are achieved effectively and efficiently.
